I am a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and hold a Standard Proficiency from the Academy of Laser Dentistry.

When I am not in the office, I spend my time at home in North Yarmouth with my kids. I am a runner, and love riding road and mountain bikes.  In the winter you might find me Nordic skiing.

The Team

Cara from 207 pediatric Dentistry

Cara
Practice Manager, RDH, MSeD

I was born and raised in Maine and graduated from the University of New England in 2008 with my B.S. in Dental Hygiene. I most recently completed my MSeD through St. Joseph’s College of Maine. I would consider myself a lifelong learner and like to take on new tasks as a way to gain more knowledge.

I am an active member of the Maine Dental Hygiene Association, was an active member of the MDA COVID-19 Re-Opening Taskforce, and in the past worked as a Clinical Instructor at the University of New England Dental Hygiene Program.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time outdoors with my son and my dog. My favorite season is fall – warm days and cool nights. We are very big on daily walks outside no matter the weather as there is nothing a little fresh air can’t fix! I also love to play tennis and to me there is nothing better than the smell and sound of the ocean.

I make children’s smiles my top priority, it is my goal that they have a positive dental experience in an environment where they can thrive. I was born and raised in Vermont and moved to Maine where I received my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from University of New England.

I am an active member of the Maine Dental Hygiene Association. As well as a member of Sigma Phi Alpha, the National Dental Hygiene Honors Society.

When I’m not in the office, I’m at home in Brunswick with my fiancé and our black lab Bailey. I enjoy getting out doors to experience all that Maine has to offer including hiking, long dog walks, boating in the summer and snowshoeing during the winter.

Shannon from 207 pediatric Dentistry

Shannon
Expanded Functions
Dental Assistant

I started my pediatric dental career in 1991 while living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I received my Expanded Functions Dental Assistant License in 2003 from the Median School of Allied Health Careers in Pittsburgh. After raising my two amazing sons in Pittsburgh, I returned to Maine to help care for my mother alongside my two brothers.

My eldest son and his wife are expecting their first child (and my first grandbaby) in September 2022, and I am beyond ecstatic. My youngest son will graduate from Robert Morris University in the spring of 2023 with his BSBA in Finance and his MBA with a concentration in Data Analytics. I am so proud and truly blessed.

I am a Mainer through and through- born and raised here. When I am not at 207 Pediatric Dentistry helping to make your child’s dental experience the best and easiest it can be, you can find me and my partner Brent on the lake fishing or sitting in a tree stand. We also enjoy hiking outdoors or having those needed lazy days with our two rescue dogs.

Nicole from 207 Pediatric Dentistry

Nicole
Patient Care Coordinator

I have always had a passion for helping people so the transition into this role felt very natural to me. I am excited to be on the front lines providing the warmest of welcomes in an environment where we pride ourselves in being fun and trusted!

I am a Mainer through and through. I was raised in a small town where I grew up playing sports with my three older brothers. I went to college at Westfield State University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science. My running career may have slowed down, but my life sure hasn’t!

I am a proud fiancé and Mom of two boys. We stay busy year round and enjoy every season for what it has to offer. I am a lover of hunting, ice fishing, camping, and eating comfort food with family on football Sundays. I am obsessed with my dog Emmie, aka ‘ME’, because life with her is “the way life should be”!

Trisha from 207 pediatric Dentistry

Trisha
Registered Dental Hygienist

Although I was born and raised in Massachusetts, I now consider myself a Mainer at heart. Our state is truly beautiful.  Away from the office you can find myself, my husband and my two sons outside as much as possible – hiking, biking, swimming, skiing and exploring with our dog Bruce.

Here in the office you can almost always find me goofing off around with my patients. I absolutely love working with children. They make me laugh and I enjoy being able to explore the world through their eyes. When I graduated hygiene school in 2008, I knew pediatrics is where I wanted to be, and I have never looked back! I graduated from the University of New England in 2008 with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene and am an active member of the Maine Dental Hygiene Association.

I cannot wait to meet your little and introduce all the fun we have here at 207 Pediatric Dentistry. Seeing kids become comfortable, confident, and proud to show off their smiles is my daily goal.  I look forward to the opportunity to provide a safe and friendly environment where your child will be excited to visit every six months!

I have a lot of experience working with children, from being a camp counselor, to before and after care, as well as babysitting and nannying. I am so excited to bring my enthusiasm to the office and to promote oral health in a fun way.

I am a dog mom to my pup, Winnie. I love summer and the sunshine. I am definitely a fun and easy going person, and love spending time with my friends and family. I would describe myself as spontaneous, and I like to keep active with anything outdoors, especially boating out on Sebago Lake!

I have lived in Maine my entire life.  I attended Empire Beauty School in Portland and graduated with a degree is Cosmetology.  After graduation, I moved back to my hometown and married my high school sweetheart.  We have two beautiful daughters and together we live in the house I grew up in.  I love entertaining and being social and we enjoy spending time by the pool with our friends and family. I grew up with a very close family and being near them and our friends is so important to me. I live for fall. Warm days and cooler nights cannot be beat if you as me, there is nothing better than bean boots and a hooded sweatshirt.

I have spent the past 15 years building a career in the service industry.  I have worked a seasonal summer job for the past twelve years, and I am very excited to make the switch to 207 Pediatric Dentistry as it will allow me to be able to spend more time with my family and friends.

I am a Registered Dental Hygienist at Dirigo. I was born and raised in Maine, and graduated from the University of New England in 2009. From there, I began practicing in general dentistry, however my love for children and working with young individuals led me to make the transition to pediatrics. I really enjoy watching my patients grow and change throughout the years!

When I am not making smiles clean and bright, I am a busy wife and Mom to my four young children. I can be found at baseball games, ski races, or gymnastic practices. Our family enjoys being outdoors -boating, skiing and spending time at our family camp in Eustis, Maine.

I am eager to help educate you and your child on how oral health and routine dental visits can be positive and fun!

I am from Hudson, Maine and graduated from the University of Maine at Augusta’s Dental Hygiene Program in 2023. Prior to hygiene school, I obtained my Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2020 from the University of Maine, Orono.

I have loved working with kids for as long as I can remember. My passion for working with children continued with me throughout hygiene school where I took every opportunity I had to work with a child in my clinical rotation. I enjoy seeing the world through their eyes while encouraging healthy oral hygiene habits and fostering a positive dental experience.

When I am not making kids smile I can be found hanging out with my family, especially my two nephews and niece or exploring the world. Traveling is another passion of mine and I hope to step foot on every continent (3 down, 4 more to go!).
